Is every Ford 1.0 a wet-belt engine?
No. Ford changed designs across different models and production periods. We confirm the exact vehicle and engine before accepting a wet-belt booking.
Is the £950 price for every vehicle?
The £950 service is the intended standard price for qualifying 1.0 EcoBoost / 1.1 Ti-VCT wet-belt replacements. Additional faults, damaged components or non-standard previous repairs are quoted separately before extra work is carried out.
Why is preventative replacement worth it?
Because a deteriorating wet belt can become much more expensive than the belt itself. Debris in the oil system, low oil pressure, turbo damage or a belt failure with lost timing can quickly turn a service job into a major repair bill.
